Artist Statement
All the critters and plants are from my parentsā garden. The plant is based on an Evodia. I went on this whole nerdy ecology discourse with the Willie wagtails being both diurnal and nocturnal, having the evodia having a kind of moonlit shimmer and the egg showing a little night sky.
